Mr. Green will serve as the Vice President of Membership. Mr. Green brings with him a long list of accomplishments and credentials. His impressive career started in 1980, when as a doctoral candidate at the University of Michigan, he founded the Ann Arbor Michigan-based software company, Greenview Data, Inc. In 2002, Mr. Green launched a network security division that includes the award-winning SpamStopsHere spam filtering solution. MIHSC is attracting members who recognize a vital need to organize around Homeland Security technologies, public policy and economic development. The group holds its meetings in cities all across Michigan. On the 5th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, the MIHSC will host a Homeland Security event that will pay tribute to the victims and the heroes. U.S. Representative Mike Rogers of Michigan’s 8th district will give the keynote speech. “We’re very enthusiastic about Ted’s leadership in MIHSC membership matters,” said Thomas Hines, MIHSC Co-founder and President. “As our Vice President of Membership and a member of our Board of Officers, Ted will bring both his entrepreneurial and technological expertise to bear as we grow the MIHSC across the state.” "I am honored to be a part of such an incredibly important organization as the MIHSC, and work alongside such a talented group of people,” said Ted Green. “Being a border state, Michigan plays a crucial role in our nation’s Homeland Security. The lines between cyber and physical security are becoming increasingly blurred. As CEO of a network security company, I understand the critical need for fast, accurate and reliable methods of identifying and protecting against threats from cyber-terrorists. I am confident that the MIHSC will continue to help educate and protect Michigan from both physical and cyber security threats."
