Antivirus XP 2008 Malware

Anti-spam law ruled unconstitutional, spammer goes free

The Virginia Supreme Court ruled the state's anti-spam legislation as unconstitutional. Jeremy Jaynes, a spammer that was brought up on charges in 2003 claimed that the law interfered with the U.S. Constitution's first amendment guaranteeing free speach. The Supreme Court Justices agreed.

Removing SecuROM

Microsoft files suit against Antivirus 2009

According to Brian Krebs, Security Fix blogger for The Washington Post, the State of Washington, assisted by Microsoft Corp., has filed a "John Doe" lawsuit against the distributor of the Antivirus 2009 malware, which I wrote about earlier.
